Design

Moto E5 Plus somewhat looks same like Moto E4 from back but the laser autofocus camera, bigger display and rear design makes it different.

Moto E5 plus from the front it looks big with 6 inch display with dimensions 160.9mm height, 75.3mm width and 9.35 mm thickness. One concern would be the camera protrusion of 0.4 mm, which can overcome by a cover. It weighs 197 gm.

At the top from left to right it has sensors, front camera, speaker, front flash and at the bottom it has a “Motorola” logo. Due to full view display it’s physical Home button is missing  .On the back it has a camera and laser autofocus side by side. LED flash located under it. Fingerprint sensor is integrated below the camera’s with Motorolo’s logo on it.

On the top side it has one mic and 3.55mm headphone jack is while the Micro-USB port and the other mic is located on the bottom side. On the right side it has volume keys and power button. It comes with dual nano SIM Card support.

Designing is somewhat good and new with reflective wave patter and an arched back on rear and rounded corners which ultimately makes the edges smooth.

Display

theroystuff.com

Moto E5 Plus has 6 inch 18:9 display , really a max one isn’t it! They call it max vision display. It’s max vision display uses IPS LCD technology with a 1440 × 720 ( HD+ ) resolution.

Performance

Moto E5 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 1.4GHz Octacore CPU and Adreno 505 GPU which something matters in this rapidly changing world. If we go through the launch date, Snapdragon 430 was released in 2015 which make us think twice.

In terms of RAM & Memory it only comes in one variant. Moto E5 Plus is packed with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded to 128GB with a microSD card ( no hybrid ).

Camera

Gradually every smartphone’s main aspect remains Camera quality and with no doubt Moto E5 Plus comes with good camera.

Moto E5 Plus comes with a 12 MP single rear camera setup. It has a f2.0 aperture with 1.25um pixel, LED flash. To give pictures a little bit more professional touch, Moto has added phase detection autofocus and laser autofocus.

Rear camera features includes the like of HDR, Panoroma, Manual mode ( Pro Mode ), Burst Shot, Best Shot, QR Code/Barcode Scanner and more.

Capturing videos from Moto E5 Plus’s rear would come great at this budget with Slow Motion mode and Video Stabilization. Videos can be captures in three different modes, 1080p 30FPS / 720p 30FPS / 480p 30FPS.

Moto E5 Plus comes with a 5MP front camera with a f/2.0 aperture and Selfie Flash. Moto should have done better in the front camera section but still it manages to take decent pictures.

Connectivity & Battery
